Salman Khan will team up once again with his 'Main Aurr Mrs Khanna' director Prem Soni for 'Paris,' to be produced by Salman's brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri.
September 29, 2009, (Sawf News) -
Soni had penned the story for the film long before Main Aurr Mrs Khanna went on the floors.
"Atul was impressed after seeing the rush print of Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. He sees potential in Soni and met him the following day. They discussed the possibility of a film together and that's when the director suggested Paris to him," a source told Mid-Day.
The hunt is on for the film's leading lady, with production slated to begin by year end.
Paris was earlier attached with debutant producer Tanya Kumar, wife of Kishan Kumar of T-Series, under her banner Temple Flower. But the project never took off.
Soni calls Salman Khan his godfather for offering him a break in the industry. Salman had asked his brother Sohail to produce Main Aurr Mrs Khanna after having been impressed with the script. Sohail Khan also features in the film.
This is the second film Salman Khan has committed to this week. His popularity has surged with the box-office success of Wanted.
Earlier this week Boney Kapoor announced a sequel to his 2006 hit comedy No Entry, which will see Salman Khan in double role along with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan. The film is titled Be Positive - No Entry Part 2.
